StarCraft® II: Legacy of the Void ™
Oggi Blizzard ha svelato i primi dettagli di Comandanti Alleati, la nuova modalità cooperativa di gioco di Legacy of the Void, l'imminente capitolo finale della saga di StarCraft II. In Comandanti Alleati, i giocatori assumono il ruolo di leggendari leader di StarCraft e si alleano per sconfiggere un nemico comune in una serie di missioni a obiettivi, facendo progredire di livello i propri comandanti lungo il percorso.
Ogni comandante ha uno stile di gioco peculiare e devastanti abilità, come pure nuovi poteri cooperativi esclusivi per la modalità Comandanti Alleati. Nuove abilità, unità e potenziamenti verranno sbloccati man mano che i comandanti lavoreranno insieme per superare ogni missione.
Oggi sono stati svelati tre comandanti, che sono giocabili alla gamescom:
- Jim Raynor rappresenta il cuore e lo spirito combattivo del Dominio terran. Guida un esercito incentrato sulla fanteria e sulle macchine belliche terran, e ha l'abilità di attingere al potere dell'incrociatore Hyperion, la nave ammiraglia della flotta.
- Kerrigan scende in campo con il suo Sciame, che comprende alcune delle unità classiche degli zerg provenienti dall'universo di StarCraft.
- Artanis comanda le forze protoss dalla Lancia di Adun, e può fornire rapidi rinforzi ai suoi alleati ovunque sul campo di battaglia, oltre a ordinare attacchi orbitali dalla precisione letale.
I giocatori professionisti di StarCraft II effettueranno una dimostrazione della modalità Comandanti Alleati alla gamescom sul palco Blizzard nella Hall 7 dalle 15:30 alle 16:30 CEST di sabato 8 agosto, e dalle 13:00 alle 14:00 di domenica 9 agosto.
Hearthstone®: Heroes of Warcraft™
Alla gamescom di quest'anno hanno preso parte valorosi cavalieri sui loro fidi destrieri, in un'anteprima del Gran Torneo™, la nuova, entusiasmante espansione di Hearthstone®: Heroes of Warcraft™ prevista entro questo mese. Oltre alle 11 nuove carte svelate oggi, Blizzard ha presentato la nuova meccanica di gioco "giostra", che dà ad alcune carte l'abilità di rivelare un servitore da ogni mazzo e ottenere un vantaggio speciale se il servitore rivelato ha un costo in Mana superiore a quello dell'avversario.
Heroes of the Storm™
L'influenza di Sanctuarium nel Nexus continua a espandersi, portando avanti l'evento dell'Eterno Conflitto™ con la presentazione del nuovo eroe di Diablo® e del nuovo campo di battaglia:
- Kharazim, monaco di Ivgorod, è un versatile eroe da mischia che può curare o combattere.
- Altari Infernali è un nuovo campo di battaglia a tre corsie nel quale le squadre si affrontano per ottenere il controllo di enormi demoni Punitori che danno la caccia agli eroi della squadra avversaria.
Sono anche stati aggiunti 2 nuovi eroi:
- Rexxar, il celebre mezzo Orco e mezzo Ogre di Warcraft ®, è un guerriero a distanza che combatte insieme al suo fedele famiglio, l'orsa Misha.

Overwatch™

- Lúcio, celebre musicista brasiliano, supporta i suoi compagni usando il suo talento musicale per curarli e aumentare la loro velocità.
·A Numbani, una città africana dove gli Omnic e gli umani vivono in armonia, i giocatori dovranno scortare il guanto di Doomfist fino al museo cittadino
·Nelle Industrie Volskaya, un centro di produzione russo vicino alla Siberia, le ostilità tra umani e Omnic restano intense, e le squadre in campo si affrontano per il controllo della mappa conquistando o difendendo punti chiave.
Lúcio e le due nuove mappe sono giocabili alla gamescom, insieme a Zarya, McCree e il Soldato 76, tre eroi già presentati quest'anno.
